DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – A snow emergency in Duluth went into effect at 1 p-m Tuesday and continues until 6 p-m on Wednesday.
Vehicles were required to be moved off of snow emergency routes by 9 p-m Tuesday or be ticketed and towed at owner expense.
Free optional snow emergency parking lots are available on a first come, first served basis until 8 p-m Tuesday.
City of Duluth crews will be clearing and widening the 120 miles of emergency routes and have begun plowing residential streets as well.
Alternate side parking this week is on the odd side of the street and visitors and residents should be following the parking schedule.
