LUTSEN, MN (KDAL) – After about 160 inches of snow this winter and a colder than average spring, Lutsen Mountain is going to be open for skiing on Saturday, May 7th.
That will be the latest date for skiing and snowboarding in the Lutsen Resort history.
One chairlift will operate on Eagle Mountain with 10 to 12 runs available.
General Manager Jim Vick says there is a three foot base of snow remaining and the forecast calls for 50 degrees and sunshine on Saturday.
