DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Essentia and St. Luke’s Hospitals have released the list of the top baby names from 2022.
There were a few popular names but parents got quite creative in naming their offspring as well.
Unique names such as Achilles, Novaroo, Pluto and Willoughby were noted at St. Luke’s but the most common boys names were Hudson and Maverick.
For girls it was Juniper followed closely by Amelia, Charlotte, Rylee and Violet.
At Essentia, topping the boys list were Grayson, Hudson, Oliver and Miles while the most popular girls names were Olivia, Sophia, Lily and Madelyn.
Meanwhile the parents of the first baby born in Duluth in 2023 are still deciding on a name.
The baby was born at Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center at 1:48 a-m on January 1st.
The baby boy’s parents are Tommy and Molly Danczyk of Hayward.
