DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The 148th Fighter Wing in Duluth is showing off its newly painted 75th Anniversary Heritage jet.
The heritage F-16 is a designated aircraft with authorized non-standard markings that represents the unit’s pride and history.
The special color scheme was designed by airmen of the 148th and coordinates with the official emblem of the wing using blue, yellow, white and red colors.
Other features of the anniversary jet includes 75 years on the tail, the years 1948 and 2023 on the horizontal stabilizers and the official Air National Guard emblem on the lower side of the wings.
