Summer of Giving Donation Drive for CASDA
Walmart Supercenter, Tower Avenue, Superior, WI, USA
The Center Against Sexual & Domestic Abuse, Inc. (CASDA) is holding a donation drive at Walmart on Thursday, June 5, noon - 6 p.m. and Friday, June 6, noon - 6 p.m. We will be accepting non-perishable food, hygiene and sanitary products, paper products, monetary donations and more! All of the proceeds will be given to the residents in shelter.

The Going Bananas Run is the first-of-its-kind Duluth fun run where your speed can raise money for charity. Each racer receives their very own banana suit to run in as you make your way through an exciting Duluth course. Start and finish at Bent Paddle. This race is great for all ages! You’d better split, though, because after 2 minutes we release “The Gorilla.” “The Gorilla” is our inside man; boy, does he love chasing bananas. Those who beat the gorilla to the finish receive a special prize, and money will be donated to a local food shelf. Do you have what it takes to beat “The Gorilla”?

Not only does Day of Caring provide non-profits with valuable resources, it is also a great opportunity to educate volunteers about the important work non-profit organizations do in our community. Recruit your friends, family or co-workers to lend a hand.
