SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) – The University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) has recorded its 2nd highest fall enrollment since 1973.
According to final data, the UWS headcount for 2026 is at 3,022 students, a five percent increase from last year.
It is also the first year since 1991 that enrollment exceeded 3,000 students.
Graduate enrollment increased for a third consecutive year and U-S students attending classes on campus also increased.
UWS has reached a milestone with an all time high number of high school dual enrollment students, enabling students to earn college credits while still in high school.
Chancellor Maria Cuzzo says UWS is also proud of the growth in online graduate and undergraduate students demonstrating a commitment to providing accessible education no matter where a student resides.
