DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Following another extremely cold weekend, the National Weather Service is expecting the high temperature on Monday to creep above zero.
Dangerous wind chills in the 35 to 55 below range are in the forecast for most of the region through Sunday morning.
Wind Chill Warnings and Advisories are in effect through the weekend for northeast Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin.
Even though temperatures will moderate a bit next week, they will mostly remain below normal for this time of year.
The normal high in Duluth is 23 degrees with a low of five above.
The forecast calls for high temperatures in the mid teens on Wednesday and Thursday of next week.
