DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The 2022 edition of the Black Woods Blizzard Tour gets underway Wednesday with a reception and registration.
On Thursday morning, snowmobile riders will begin the trek from Proctor to Fortune Bay, then to Two Harbors and back to Duluth.
A celebration dinner will wrap up the event Saturday at the Greysolon Ballroom.
The fundraising event has brought in over 13 million dollars to provide support and services for those with ALS.
Minnesota Twins alumni Terry Steinbach, Kent Hrbek and Ron Gardenhire will be participating again this year.
Last year the tour was held virtually and this year all COVID protocols will be followed throughout the event.
