DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The National Weather Service Office in Duluth has issued a Flood Watch for the Duluth area and the north shore of Lake Superior Friday evening through Saturday morning.
Rainfall could be locally heavy with two or more inches possible.
With the ground already soaked from previous rain, excessive runoff could lead to flooding of low lying and flood-prone locations and rivers and creeks may rise out of their banks.
There is also a risk of flooding in northwest Wisconsin from the predicted showers and thunderstorms.
