Ukraine’s central bank holds key rate, sees slower growth, higher inflation in 2026

KYIV, April 30 (Reuters) – Ukraine’s central bank ​kept its ‌key interest rate unchanged at 15% on ‌Thursday, ​as ⁠expected, and ⁠said the country’s economic growth would be ​slower and inflation higher ⁠than ⁠initially expected ​this year.

The central ​bank downgraded its ‌forecast for gross domestic product to ⁠1.3% in 2026 from 1.8% previously. ⁠It ‌revised its ⁠inflation forecast ​for ‌this year ​to ⁠9.4% from 7.5%.
