DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Duluth Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 600 block of Woodland Avenue on Sunday morning.
The fire appeared to have started on the porch of the duplex but had spread and was showing through the roof on the front portion of the structure when crews arrived.
The upper level of the structure was vacant and the lower level tenants had evacuated safely.
There were no injuries and firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to nearby buildings.
The structure was a total loss and damage estimates totaled 270 thousand dollars.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Duluth Fire Marshal’s Office.
