ORR, MN (KDAL) – Just after midnight on Tuesday, the Orr Fire Department and surrounding mutual aid fire departments responded to a residence on fire in the 5000 block of Old Highway 53 north of Orr.
The fire, believed to have been caused by a faulty gas line on a grill, was quickly brought under control.
The homeowner and only occupant of the home was treated at the scene by EMS personnel for smoke inhalation.
Damage estimates were not reported.
The incident is being investigated by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department and the Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office.
