DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Construction has resumed on Highway 61 and London Road following a brief pause for Grandma’s Marathon.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation says London Road north of 40th Avenue East is only open to northbound traffic.
Southbound traffic is detoured to Superior Street at 40th Avenue East to 21st Avenue East.
The multi year project will construct roundabouts at 26th Avenue East and 40th Avenue East, add left hand turn lanes, add pedestrian amenities, drainage and lighting improvements and road resurfacing.
