DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The 40th annual Duluth-Superior Pride Festival began Thursday with a welcoming reception at the Depot.
Duluth Mayor Roger Reinert and Superior Mayor Jim Paine hosted the reception and issued a proclamation that kicks off a weekend of LGBTQ+ events throughout the Twin Ports.
Highlights include an art show on Friday at the Prove Gallery in Canal Park.
The Pride Festival at Bayfront Park on Saturday features hundreds of vendors, food trucks, information booths, shopping, and live entertainment all day.
On Sunday, the annual Pride Parade begins at noon and will travel down Tower Avenue between Broadway and 13th Street in Superior.
