DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – To address ongoing public safety concerns and criminal activity in downtown Duluth, the Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force, with local and federal law enforcement agencies, conducted another focused crime impact detail.
This latest enforcement operation resulted in eight arrests on a variety of charges including felony possession, drug sales and warrants for theft and assault.
Those arrested ranged in age from 20 to 40 years old.
The Task Force mission is designed to identify and apprehend those involved in violent offenses and criminal activity contributing to safety concerns in the downtown area. A particular emphasis is placed on individuals targeting vulnerable members of the community.
