DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Construction at the Building For Women in Duluth has prompted the Program for Aid To Victims of Sexual Assault or PAVSA to suspend their walk-in services for about a week.
PAVSA will continue its 24/7 help-line (218-726-1931) and hospital response. Advocates will also continue meetings at partner agencies, the courthouse and virtually.
Other agencies in the building, the WE Health Clinic and the YWCA will remain open and continue to provide services during the construction.
There will be no changes in programs offered by the remaining tenants in the building including the Duluth Community School Collaborative, the League of Women Voters and Boreal Development.
The work at the Building For Women, at 32 East 1st Street, will close the front entrance and visitors will be directed to use the back entrance in the alley between 1st Street and Superior Street.
