McDAVITT TOWNSHIP, MN (KDAL) – First responders were called to a motor home that caught fire alongside the road on Tuesday morning.
The fire was reported on Highway 7 near the intersection with the Amundson Road in McDavitt Township.
The female driver and her dog were able to get out of the camper without injury but the vehicle was a total loss.
According to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, the driver said the motor home was having “engine issues” before smoke and flames were seen coming from under the hood.
McDavitt Township is about 23 miles southeast of Hibbing.
