DULUTH TOWNSHIP, MN (KDAL) – A 24 year old man died in a single vehicle crash Wednesday night in Duluth Township.
The victim was identified as Zander Leroy Hamlin from Duluth Township.
According to authorities, Hamlin was driving northbound in the 6500 block of the Homestead Road when the vehicle left the roadway and hit a large tree in the ditch, re-entered the roadway and spun several times before coming to rest in the middle of the road.
Despite life saving efforts from first responders, Hamlin was declared dead at the scene.
Speed is believed to be a contributing factor in the crash.
Duluth Township Police were assisted at the crash scene by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department, the County Rescue Squad and Lake County Ambulance.
