LEIDING TOWNSHIP, MN (KDAL) – The 15 year old male driver of an ATV was airlifted to a Duluth hospital after a single ATV crash west of Orr on Tuesday evening.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says the driver was the sole occupant of the ATV that left the roadway on Cedar View Drive in Leiding Township and hit some trees.
The juvenile was thrown from the vehicle and sustained serious injuries.
The incident is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Department but driver inexperience and speed are considered as contributing factors in the crash.
