LEIDING TOWNSHIP, MN (KDAL) – Lightning during a heavy thunderstorm in northern Minnesota on Tuesday morning is the likely cause of a cabin fire in Leiding Township.
Numerous fire departments in the region responded to the 11000 block of the Nett Lake Road to battle the fire that was reported at 7:54 a-m.
Damage estimates were not immediately available.
Fire departments from Orr, Boise Forte, Buyck, Cook, Bearville and Kabetogama were assisted by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department.
