DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – A man with a firearm barricaded himself in a storage unit in the 100 block of West 1st Street in Duluth on Wednesday.
The Police SWAT and Crisis Negotiation Team responded to the scene and were able to convince the 59 year old man to surrender peacefully.
The man was arrested and jailed on assault and threats of violence charges.
There were no injuries as the result of the incident.
That block of 1st Street was closed to traffic while the situation was active.
