About the Show
I’ve spent over twenty five years working behind the mic. I used to be a dairy farmer, truck driver, dish washer, grocery store clerk, semi-pro bowler, golf hustler, professional ring announcer and fishing guide. My wife, Briana and I also own the Fredenberg Minno-ette, a bait shop and convenience store about 20 miles north of Duluth. My parents, Jim and Judy Manning raised me to work hard and to be independent because as Dad once said, “Our last name is Manning. We ain’t that bright so you’d better work HARD!” He was right. Thanks to some wonderful people over the years, I’ve been able to raise two great kids in Duluth doing a job I love. In my spare time I like to fawn over my wife, chase smallmouth and walleye, play some golf and pick a guitar all the while keeping cold High Life stocked in the fridge.
